Flair-rail, one of the UK's largest model railway stores based in Essex within the small riverside town, Burnham-on-Crouch which in itself offers a lot to you as a visitor.

But here at Flair-rail you will find many things to look at and do, including award winning layouts available to view on permanent display plus a myriad of model railway equipment to purchase from all sorts of manufacturers and suppliers.

We offer a range of services, we can repair a broken engine or an engine that isn't running right, we can supply and fit DCC digital decoders or fit your own decoder/sound decoder to your engine, please phone us for prices etc.

Flair-rail is an Aladdin's cave for the model railway enthusiast (or the coach load of hobbyists!) with supplies in most major gauges!

You can spend as long as you like perusing the shop and our layouts without being interrupted or if you prefer we are always happy to help.

Light refreshments are available, including a hot drinks machine which can serve over 30 different coffee combos or just a normal cuppa! Also we have an ice cream freezer, cold drinks fridge and a selection of chocolates, sweets and crisps, all available to purchase so you can sit by the layouts, enjoy your snacks and watch the trains go by.

We have a Large car-park directly in front of our shop which is completely free and has a large capacity, you can park right by the entrance if you so require.
